I have a feeling I will need to know this technique ass it is not even installed yet and one has come off. Whoever said ... If it aint broke, Don't fix it... Just doesn't get the point! Others have tried small large headed self tappers thro from outside to screw into the blocks but I never fancied that as I thought it would look naff. Like the idea of dowels though.
