R300 Fuel pressure

Caterham, in the roller barrel upgrade kit for the K supply a new fuel rail which take a separate non-rover fuel pressure regulator. To make this easy to install they fit it at the opposite end of the fuel rail and supply new fuel pipes which are too short as thy are designed for the std fuel rail.... *thumbdown* which will also bolt straight onto the Roller Barrels.

 

The std K regulator is marked "3 bar" and I was wondering if the R300 runs more pressure than this, or is this adjustable regulator just the preserve of the R500 and SLR racers? If so, what do they set it to as I need a very convincing argument not to fit the std fuel rail which will be a whole lot less hassle.

 

Anyone got FP readout on their R3/4/500 series Stack??

 

In fact can someone who owns an R300 take a look under the bonnet and tell me if the fuel pressure regulator is at the front or rear of the engine......
