John Vine
I've just been reading about noid lights. It seems they could be a useful addition to the diagnostic toolkit, but your advice would be welcome: They come in many shapes and sizes. Is there a particular one that will work with a Duratec as well as an EU2 K? (Our family has one of each.) Can they be used for ignition LT circuits as well as injectors? Should I go for one that plugs directly into a connector, or one with back-probes? Do they do anything that I couldn't do with Easimap? Which product would you recommend? Are they worth it? What does "noid" stand for?TIA, chaps.JV
Member Jonathan Kay Posted July 21, 2017 Member Share Posted July 21, 2017 Very interesting. And they seem to address one of the two current diagnostic gaps.DIY, but they seem pretty cheap anyway.7. What does "noid" stand for?Abbreviation of "solenoid"?Otherwise... no idea?Jonathan (and I still have my No2ID t-shirt)
John Vine
The one from Draper looks as good as any, but I guess there's quite a bit of redundancy across the six lights. I'm about to ask them which ones fit a Duratec and a K.JV
