Andy Lef
Just a few early pics of the new LEDs in place, Rear are awesome (SVC sqaure carbon look - these have gone up in price since I bought then at £99) Front is a direct comparison of Wipac LED against standard bulb with a clear lens. Also I have now wired in the diodes to I need to make it all work seamlessly so that they can be wird in to the indicator warning light wiring behind the dash. Not a bad job for an all thumbs bloke.LINKY to picsMore to follow when I hook everything up and see if it works as it should.Andy
nickh7
thank you for the fix having gone LED on rear lights and all indicators I spent a small fortune on relays and ended up leaving the standard indicator bulbs in the head lamps as i couldn't get the bloody things to work. Now I know I am off to go through the diaode things i bought from maplin to see if I can make it work now.

Leadership Team SLR No.77 Posted August 1, 2017 Leadership Team Share Posted August 1, 2017 The diode solution is needed for the dash mounted indicator light, but does anyone know if the diodes are needed for the later cars (>2002/) with the indicator warning light integral in the rev counter? Member Jonathan Kay Posted August 1, 2017 Member Share Posted August 1, 2017 It's hard to tell with the way they now provide the wiring diagrams. There seems to be both a GW and a GR going into the tachometer plug. Is there still only one indicator light? It's also complicated by there now being a buzzer... rather than 0 or 2!Jonathan
