VHPD Club Sport

Does anyone have any comments on the VHPD Club Sport, looking for previous owners reviews or general advice would be much appreciated.

If we're talking about Clubsports from late 90's then I thought there were only 4 made all to the same basic spec none of which none where VHPD's.  Though I could be wrong.

I owned number 003 from Feb, 2000 to about Mar, 2001 when I traded it in for an Academy place. It was later owned by Lyn Gilbert of these parts and later still sold into Germany I believe.

Spec of 003 then registered as T211NKK as I recall included:

1.6K Supersport with Dry Sump
6 Speed box
Big front brakes an race master cylinder
LSD
Carbon dash with yellow gauges
Rear exit exhaust with the extra box under the tank - The whole point of hte Clubsport being that it was aimed at trackdays and needed to be kept quiet t avoid black flags.
Leather seats
FIA Roll bar
Carbon rear arch protectors
Momo steering wheel
Painted Ferrari Rosso Red.

VHPD Club Sport does not ring a bell with me either as being an offical Caterham Model.

Sorry, I think we need a bit more info as to exactly what you are after.

I am sure it was an SLR with civility, in the same way a 620s is to a 620r . There was one in Sheffield it looked  just like a standard 1600k but had all the running gear of an SLR real wolf in sheeps clothing. It was factory built.
