Annoying clicking noise sorted... Sort of!

Right.. New discs on front to replace warped ones, new bearings because rubber seal had perished and I have finally found the cause of the annoying click on the O/S wheel.... ( hub no loner fouls the calliper so it's not that)

turns out the disc is picking up the brake pad and dropping it back into the calliper... Click click. And I have no idea how to stop it! Shims might just push the pad into contact with the disc permanently. That can't be good.

Any ideas? PS ... standard brakes and Mintex M 1144 pads.

Are you sure the bearings are adjusted correctly. The pad remains in contact with the disc .... just knocked back by the miniscule run out in the disc. If the run out is excessive, it would constantly pat the pad back every revolution.
