Weber Air Corrector Jet

E-mail me off list with your address and I will send you a photocopy of Passini's masterwork on the subject.

Most people have forgotten how to tune webers these days, but basically the air corrector is a calibrated bleed into the main fuel system. This progressively uncovers the holes in the emulsion tube as flow increases and overcomes the natural tendancy of the mixture to get richer as the vacuum signal in the venturi increases. This correction is related to (in no particular order)

1. main jet size

2. emulsion tube type

3. air corrector size

4. fuel level

5. fuel pressure

6. venturi size

7.auxiliary venturi

Getting it spot on is not trivial
