Paranoid fuel question

Bear with me on this one, I think I am being far too oversensitive however ...

My old xflow ran on LRP and I had a 20ltr jerry can for hauling the stuff to sprints. I now have a shiny new R300 (3 days old) which naturally runs on unleaded.

My jerry can was completely emptied of LRP with only the slightest dribble being present in the bottom (I couldn't empty it out). I've now filled the jerry can up with unleaded, but am I safe to empty this into the R300?

I guess what I am asking is, will this tiny amount of LRP mixed with normal unleaded do any damage to the catalyst? I don't know at what concentration any damage might occur and I don't really want to fork out for a new cat just yet.

See, told you it was paranoid, but you know what it's like with a new arrival *smile*

No worries... but think about it. Firstly ,the dilution will be extreme and, secondly , LRP runs cooler on valve/valve seats, therefore if there was more than a dribble left in the can it should not hurt your valve gear and the lack of lead should make it safe for the cat.

Of course you could always empty the can into another car...
