heavenly7
Whats the best method of sealing the exhaust pipe where the four part joins the dual or single pipe - mine has developed a horrible rattle. I gather it is better to avoid the mastic type exhaust sealer. Where can you source the bits required to do the job or can it be entrusted to the local exhaust shop! John E
avoid things like gun gum and other hard drying sealers. they are a pig to remove once set. go for a high temp silicone sealant from halfrauds or a n other. look on the hermatite web site for info on types. Foxy Smith
Got some (plenty) high temp silicon sealant here. Easy to clean off when you want. Welcome to have some if you want, I'm just outside Ardingly. Alan 01444 892555
caterhamnut
When gaps are a bit wider, i have found it useful to shim the hole. Coke can or similar provides useful thin sheet, and careful trimming should make it invisible from the outside. 😬33,000 miles in 15 months! angus@tinyworld.co.uk Caterham pics here
