anthonym
I've found that a constant 42mph tends to give just enough cooling and is the speed required for rain to go over my head, or at least not get into my eyes - given it's not too heavy. There's something about 42 :-)I've always imagined CC simply didn't design the R500 to go so slow (under 40) for any extended period of time and especially not at high revs. My BDR is the same, it gets hotter and hotter when being thrashed up a mountain (many years ago of course) - its dry sumped too, but not so hi-tech materials. Both have extra big fans and the R500 has a 4 row rad, up from 3 row - and I switch the heater on to bring that little rad in to play. rj
Is it water or oil that overheats?
