Gunscrossed Posted April 30, 2017 Share Posted April 30, 2017 Oil pressure gauge dropped below zero which gave me a bit of a fright but I'm 99% sure there is oil pressure and it's the gauge that's faulty. Is there a simple way for me to check tough?I did pop the gauge out to have a look at the connections but also managed to blow a fuse which put the rest of the gauges out! (now fixed). SM25T Posted April 30, 2017 Share Posted April 30, 2017 Usually the electric sender that dies prematurely. Pull the cable connector off it and ground the cable on a metal part of the engine with the ignition on. Gauge should go to full scale. Easy to change sender .... or for the same cost ... change to a mechanical gauge with capillary tube. No electric sender involved. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
