Big Al Posted February 19, 2003 Share Posted February 19, 2003 I plan to replace to brake fluid in my Caterham as I do not think it has been done over the last few years. I picked up a couple of litres of Castrol Response as it is DOT4 (As recommended in the Caterham owners manual) Is this brake fluid any good. Should I take it back and exchange for somethings else? The car is around 160 BHP any mainly for road use. Depending on time/money I might take the car on the odd trackday but will not be pushed too the limit. Disc brakes all round and standard Caterham spec, may have uprated pads but not certain which make. Also will 2 litres be enough to make sure I have flushed out all the old fluid?
