Self mapping a MBE 956F....

Had another mapping session tonight.

I used the avgerage of two maps that gave a less aggressive advance and played around with RobAstras low throttle settings. Worked much better. Played around with the fuelling a bit on low TPS setting but went back to the standard.

The rattle I was talking about is gone. I assume it was pinking solved by the above.

Tried the advanced mapping box and I can see how it works in car.

It will now pull cleanly from 1050 rpm as silly throttle depressions.

FI is cool when it comes get up and go at low RPM.

Just an update

Drove the 7 for nearly an hour! Beautiful day. Lucky to have hols today!

No Pinking, occasional pop on overrun. It is a different

machine! Feels like a real race car now!

The exhaust note is fairly purposeful...

It is better on the stiffer rear springs too.

The front hauls round much nicer with no swat under power.

Forgot to say many thanks to all who have helped me on this project. From a box of bits with

no instructions to working FI.
