Occulomency
I've got a '97 1.8 K Series (unmodified). Yesterday I changed the battery as the old one was having trouble cranking to the engine no matter how many times I reconditioned it.The engine turns over just fine but I don't hear the fuel pump priming and the car will not start.I've stuck an extra 5 litres in the tank (just in case), checked the fuse (15 amps and intact) and the immobilizer (new battery in the fob and the LED flashes and switches on/off) but still no sound from the fuel pump. What should I try next?Cheers.Fraser. Member Jonathan Kay Posted April 23, 2017 Member Share Posted April 23, 2017 I'd check, in order: That the inertia switch is reset. The electrical feed and earth at the pump terminals.Do you have a multimeter?Jonathan

Member Jonathan Kay Posted April 23, 2017 Member Share Posted April 23, 2017 Probably on the bulkhead above and behind the ECU.Jonathan
