Strut Brace fitting

Hi!

Fitted new FIA roll bar to my live axle 7 last week - today removed passenger seat to attach strut brace. From angulation of brace it seems to attach to left lower end of dash, and some photos I have confirm the direction.

However, there seems to be no hole for bolt to fit but cannot be sure until I drill rivets to see what is under the upholstery on that side.

Can anyone post me a photo or link to a site, directly showing the attachment of the end of the brace to the car? I guess it becomes an integral part of the chassis at that point but am unsure until I uncover the area.

Any help would be appreciated.

Antonella, Look in the archives July 2002. called 'The Petty strut bar.........Where do you drill the hole' . Just search under 'Petty'. Various methods of locating the bottom mount are suggested.

Sorry I can't make the link work.
