2004Academy80
I'm researching various products to insulate the radiated heat from the bare aluminium transmission tunnel (caused by heat soak in traffic). The exposed foot well I will line with the CC kit in the engine bay.I have new tunnel carpet, but now I need to decide what to insulate the cockpit side of the transmission tunnel with.4 products options found so far;thermo-tec-suppressor-heat-sound-matthermo-tec-thermo-guard-frthermo-tec-cool-it-insulating-matteknofibra-self-adhesive-heat-shield-matDoes anyone have any experience, comment, knowledge of which will suppress the heat most efficiently? or have any other product knowledge.Thanksp.s. I don't want to lag the exhaust primaries.
