Snowman
In anticipation of finally getting my hands on a seven Need a small tintop to park in the Croydon traffic jams on weekdays. Very limited budget, £1500 max, but need something that will start, and run!, each morning. The smaller the car and engine the better, with a reasonably long MOT. Please email me if you have one for sale within a reasonable distance from Croydon. No dogs please, my moggy doesn't like 'em 😬 Brrrrrrrrr..... Snowman
Unfortunately masha's car is not the one for me - though I'm sure it'll go quickly to someone else. Anyone got a reliable tintop going cheap? Start the bidding at a Fiat 500 and work upwards Has to be reliable tho' as my cat, Snot, really doesn't like dogs 😬 If all goes well will get my Seven on Monday Have to apologise for the surplus of Smileys but this is something I've been looking forward to for a long time. And yes, my cat is really called Snot, gets a bit embarrasing wandering around shouting "Snot! Snot!" when he goes missing. 😬 Brrrrrrrrr..... masha
Enjoy the new 7 when it arrives Whatever you end up getting I'd recommend you try Brentwood Insurance Services for your insurance, if your area demands high premiums, as they are the ones that quite happily insured the Renualt 5 fully-comp for under £300, even with the uprated alloys and colour-coded GT trim. Happy 7ing Matt
Bricol
I've got the ideal vehicle (s) - although maybe a little far away - I'm in Yorkshire! E-reg Renault 5 Campus - 3 door, decent nick - not immaculate but no structural rust or holes - few dings and knocks but goes very well - 1400 5 speed Ren 5 - lonnnnng MOT - 11months, 25 day and 2 hours (it passe deasily on Monday) - 6 mths tax - cheap insurance. -£300 Or J-reg Peugeot 106 - been rear ended but you couldn't tell now - 1100 - goes very well - will easily pass MOt on tuesday. £550 Depending on what I sell is what I keep to trial. Snowman
Thanks for the offers Bri and masha, just found the perfect car late yesterday. Genuine 98,500 miler, Fiat Cincquecento! Main dealer was so pleased to be shot of it that they're bunging in a Fiat 6 month warranty, service & MOT. Should be able to hack the 8 mile round trip to work for at least 6 months. All for the cost of a bag of peanuts Pity it isn't the 'Sporting' model tho', would have had two blatmobiles! Brrrrrrrrr.....
