JPE aeroscreen-mirrors

Paul,

I fitted mine to the screen. I have heard some people say that their screen cracked after a while so I mounted them using a rubber spacer on either side of the screen and one oval washer either side to spread any stress and dampen any vibration.

I mounted the central mirror on the edge of the scuttle, so that the post can remain in place with the full screen fitted. The front to mounting bolts are accessed under the front lip of the dash.

I used SPA F1 side mirrors and the SPA Sports Car central mirror.

I can send you some pics if required.

Paul,

Don't know what make my aeroscreen is, but their fitted with some carbon Spa-type mirrors which I've seem in the Merlin Motorsports catalogue (see www.merlinmotorsport.co.uk). Since they weight next to nothing, they seem to vibrate very little so doubt they'll cause problems with cracking - so far so good anyway. They also fit on my side screens when it's too cold for the aeroscreen!!
