Nifty
Dear All, I have borrowed a set of wheels with soft compound 032Rs for Silverstone. What sort of pressure should I run them at on the track? Cheers, Nifty.
STEVE GILBERT
Play between 16 and 20 odd, there is no hard and fast rule IMHO, just what you like and not so low as they overheat. What was the person you borrowed from running? They must be very charitable as a good day on track in my car will show very marked wear in this type of tyre See My Zetec Power 7 Here

Nifty
Thanks for the answers. Tyres come from an R500 and are in fact still fitted to the split rims. The tyres are already worn and do not need to be returned but should be ample for my first foray in my 1.4 SS on the virgins trackday.

Nifty
Sorry Mark, the charitable lender has specifically requested they be returned, minus the tyres. Mind you he may be prepared to sell them? If you are genuinely interested then I could find out.
