callumskeat
Hi Folks,Does anyone know what the generic code/part number is for the air filter for the Duratec engine on the Seven 360R. £150 from Caterham seems a little steep.RegardsCallum
simon_h
What part number are you looking at?The ones for the plastic airbox seem to be £28 or £58 for a K&N?The £151 one is for the old Sigma EU4 and I reckon thats in wrong.
mike150
I have an idea of taking the airbox off and fitting a K&N cone filter the next size up from a standard R400/R500 one. It an E-1988 and they are £58. There are plenty of cone filters that fit for about 30quid.
Area Representative Paul Richards Posted March 13, 2017 Area Representative Share Posted March 13, 2017 Hi CallumYours is a new car. I can't believe you need a new filter already unless you have a problem. It's normal to just wash and re-oil the filter.
mike150
It's a paper element in the 360 and 420 airbox
ChrisC
The 360R air filter Ford part number is 1729854. I think it's from a 2001 - 2008 petrol Fiesta / Fusion but not ST150Also on the packet is the number 2S619601C1A Which means according to the K&N cross reference ist the same as a K&N 33-2853
Area Representative Paul Richards Posted March 14, 2017 Area Representative Share Posted March 14, 2017 "It's a paper element in the 360 and 420 airbox"Sorry I didn't appreciate that. Assumed it was a foam filter.
