In the past I have used Halfords fully synth 10W40 and many years ago Caterham recommended Comma 5W50.The car will be raced and has just had a complete engine rebuild so I don't want to skimp! Area Representative Nick Bassett Posted March 8, 2017 Area Representative Share Posted March 8, 2017 I always use 5W 50 in my 1.4k - as recommended by DVA.However, if you've just had a full engine rebuild, you might need to run something different to allow the engine to run in properly...
