Morls
'Bakers Oven' did a very nice 'Christmas special' pasty.... Turkey, Cranberry and Stuffing.... delicious in December, un-faceable in January. The all-night pasty shop in Newquay is well worth a trip too. If only Whitby and Newquay had airports, and I had a nice little plane. Newquay is (like all places) near Bath ... Ewen is in Bath.... Ewen, any chance of swapping packed lunches 🤔 Mark My Caterham Silver Jubilee No. 7 is here with Mavis, under 'Mark's Cars'.
ewenm
We have 2 fantastic pastie shops in Bath that are often visited at lunchtime. They had some cracking christmas specials too. I think Newquay does have an airport so just need to get onto the planners in Whitby and buy the official Caterham Aero attachment (something to do with Aeroscreens isn't it?) Morls
Hmm.... Newquay Airport ehh... I suppose for a GOOD pastie, I could drive up to Croft to launch a plane... Now I just need the loan of one of Rach's Harriers Will my leather flying helmet and RAF MK9 goggles clash with the Harrier's modern interior 😳 Mark My Caterham Silver Jubilee No. 7 is here with Mavis, under 'Mark's Cars'. Morls
In trying to picture pastie shops in Bath, I've just experienced a shocking memory... *eek*Bath has a Pole-Dance-Kareoke-Bar Where punters can turn up... Put on a track...and then strip off to it 😳 I'm sure I didn't dream this (from my visit last summer), It was on the left if heading down hill from the posh bars to the late-pub type places. ewenm
Don't know that bar I'm afraid (or glad maybe 😳 ) Pastie shops - one in the group of alleyways known as The Corridor, another one on the main uphill/downhill shopping street (Milsom Street - Devon Savouries I believe) Mmmmmmm Pasties mmmmmmmmmm Might have to bring a selection of pasties to the Bikeshed After School Bash. 😬 P979TMV - As seen on current Caterham advert, back of LF
Morls
Boonie, I was just a little worried when no-one was wearing any in this month's Cosmo 😳 Ewen, I 've dug out a map of Bath, but can't recognise anywhere except the pentagon down by the river. We did get some Pasties there tho. (from a little shop, near a tunnel ) Mark Mark My Caterham Silver Jubilee No. 7 is here with Mavis, under 'Mark's Cars'. Rachael
Mark, I have seen the pics of the goggles, they will be fine - it doesn't really matter what you wear, if you are in a Harrier that is all that matters! Rach
ewenm
I think the little shop near a tunnel might be the one in the Corridor - it's pretty tunnel-like. Also got a Ben's Cookies just down the street! mmmmmmmmmmmmm Need to think of something to do on Saturday to impress a young lady - do you reckon pasties are the way forward 🤔 Ewen. Morls
impress a young lady - do you reckon pasties are the way forward Almost certainly, but there is a fine line as to the correct choice of pasty... Too spicy and she may be concerned with troublesome wind 😳 Too small and she may think you mean and scroogelike 😳 Too big and (assuming she's happy to bring the pasty to bed, like any 'nice' girl) it may make you feel inadequate 😳 😳 Mark My Caterham Silver Jubilee No. 7 is here with Mavis, under 'Mark's Cars'.
