Is my R400D correctly set up?

Fairly new to the Caterham fold and getting used to my car, however with 1200 miles under my belt now I'm starting to get a feel for it, however one thing I'm finding is that when going fairly quick into fairly tight bends, the grip at the front end doesn't feel right to me, it feels a bit light, loose and disconcerting, with light under steer almost too easy access. I'm not saying the car doesn't handle well, it does, but it's not all that confidence inspiring. I'm assuming this isn't normal, do you think it needs a geometry check or something? Advice or suggestions gratefully received.

Thanks

James

I bought my 140 Roadsport direct from CC south and over the next few hundred miles wasn't entirely happy with the handling. It just didn't amaze me as I thought/ hoped a Caterham would. I took it to N J Potter who fitted 13 inch wheels and ZZS tyres and sorted the suspension; turns out it had 3 degrees neg camber on one side and 0 degrees on the other. They sorted the rake too. Now, it handles just the way I hoped it would; positive, confidence inspiring and loads of feedback through the wheel and the seat. Perfect.

I think the point was made, get the suspension set up by a specialist. If its wrong its just not good.
