Colin Grundy
If I refer to the build manual it states that " Bushes A, B, D, and E are used when an FIA Bar is fitted. Problem is, the pack of fixings as supplied are not marked in any way. I have bushes X 3(all the same thickness) 2 long bolts, one has a thin head and two identical shorter bolts, which are presumably for the side fixings? 1 X flat washer, 2 wavey washers, and two thin washers with three small cut outs in them. question A) which bolts fit in which holes? question B) which holes do you use to mount the harnesses, is it the two to the side of the FIA bar mounting, or do use use one of the bar mounting holes? I would appreciate your help.
mav
There should be two holes in the rail behind where your shoulders would be if sat in the car. These should be used for mounting the shoulder straps. Not sure which bolts you put where though
Colin Grundy
Martin, If youve got an FIA bar you will notice it is mounted on an elongated triangular section from the top. Why queery is does one of the seat belt mounting bolts go through one of these or are they fastened by the two fixings at the side of the bar mounting? The manual is less than vague on this one.
