revilla Posted December 16, 2016 Share Posted December 16, 2016 Alan,Just be aware that the blocks (with the engine numbers on) are interchangeable between anything from a later 1.4 to a 1.8 VVC or VHPD - so if you know the engine is pretty much as it was built then the engine number tells you what you need to know but if the engine is something that has an unknown history, an engine builder could have built it to a completely different specification to that reflected by the engine number.AndrewPS: I'm not ignoring your email on the VVC loom, just struggling for time to respond.
