Track day roll over bar fitting

Hi all,

Probably a fairly obvious question here, but worth checking. I am replacing a standard roll bar on my newly acquired CSR with a track day roll bar.

There are two extra bolts that you get at through the wheel arch. This isn't a problem on the CSR as the shock isn't in the way. The two bolts are provided but there doesn't seem to be a washer in the kit. It looks to me like it needs a washer as the bolt head isn't that much larger than the hole in the chassis. 

Am i missing something obvious here or should I just add a washer.

Thanks, doesn't say anything about a washer but still seems a bit odd to me. I'll double check with caterham.

How strange.

When I built mine in 1998 IIRC the bolt came up from below and was received into a thread, and needed a lock washer. I'll check some other versions of the Guide.

No washer indicated in my current build, which includes a track day roll-over bar. There is a spring washer and a plain washer on the set screws though.

Thanks all, I also just heard back from Caterham and they also confirmed that no washer is needed.
