Plentiful on eBay:

Just make sure you get one with the matching Lucas 5AS immobiliser and key fob(s) (the immobilisers with the big black letter on a a white square sticker and square key fobs). You can get new key fobs programmed up to match, or you can get the ECU programmed to recognise your existing immobiliser. the stock mapping is very conservative, well worth giving Mark Stacey at KMaps a call as one of his remaps will transform the engine response. I and several others on here will tell you how much of a difference it makes. If you're going to do that, I think for something like £80 he will supply the ECU itself too, so that way you would get peace of mind without taking a chance on eBay for just a few pounds more. He can also sort out whatever you want to to regarding immobilisation (including disabling it altogether) while he's at it.

Hi Andrew,

Thanks for the reply, I had my current ECU on the roadsport worked on my Mark Stacey 2 months ago, and I have to agree it was a transformation. The reason for thinking about getting a cheap standard one is to just get the car going with the new engine then decide if I want to go the emerald route so it is ready for future upgrades.
