Martym
What is a good road tyre for above size ?
TomB
Ive used Yoko 21R, not sure if they are still available anywhere/ legal. Reasonable cost, good ground clearance, but occasionally a bit squishy when pressing on on the twisties.

Toby S
Not quite the same, but I run Yokohama A539 185/60 R13 as everyday road tyres and they are OK - still plenty of warning when reaching limits despite slightly lower profile
Martym
would like to keep profile same as live axle..
Mort
The Caterham branded Avon CR322s, available from Caterham work for me. They are a slightly softer compound now that they are made in the U.K. rather than China. They're not as grippy as the A021 Yoko, for example, but they do clear a lot of water when it's really wet. The A021 Rs are no longer e marked for road use.Uniroyal RainExpert 3 get good write-ups, and are a softer compound according to reviews, but they are T rated rather than H rated, so it might be worth talking to your insurers before fitting them, as they are not original specification. Martym
the original Michelin MXT`s that are fitted are T rated & I think the Avons are T rated also.
Mort
You may be right, in which case no problem. I thought mine were H rated but my Seven is in a paint shop at the moment, so I can't check.
