Replaced the original FOMOCO Plugs AYFS22CB with NGK TR5B-13.Lots of conflicting advice on the net of spark plug gap is it 1mm 1.2mm or 1.3mm?Also what do you torque them up to? 11Ibs Ft? ChrisC Posted October 11, 2016 Share Posted October 11, 2016 If you do a bit of digging in the archive you will find the Ford spec changed from 1.0 to 1.3 mm gap. This seems fine in Fiestas and Focuses, but Sevens started to run poorly. I think it happened when the original part number was superseded.
