Bicycle trailer

I'm on the lookout for a cheap bicycle trailer, either the sort to tow a couple of kids or a cargo trailer.

I've recently gone halves on an allotment in the village and want to bike there rather than use the car - a trailer with a box on the back would be great for transporting stuff backwards and forwards. Might also use for the supermarket run!

I could make one but by the time I've sourced some wheels, timber and bits to make a coupling it may be cheaper to buy second hand.

Anyone got one languishing in the shed? (Midlands ish if poss)

For information:

I've just bought an Adventure AT3 in pretty good nick for £80 through eBay.

The transverse bar above the children's heads was too low (lots of comments on this on the Web) so I moved it further back. Otherwise pretty impressed. Connection to bike is neat and simple.

First big run is the church cycle ride this Saturday.

Jonathan,

Was it old style FIA or Caged double diagonal *biggrin*

Thanks - I'm checking ebay too. If it was for the kids (when they were younger) I would want something with good reviews and well built. As its potentially carrying a fork / spade, seedlings or a few cans of beans I'm not too fussed. There is one in near Boston for £25 but its a 130 mile round trip for me.

Let me know how it tows.

Regards

Ian
