Error regarding email sending message

Hi,

Sent a couple of PM's just now and both times I've had a warning that there was an error sending email, but it says the message was sent.

Mail server issues?

i used to see that sometimes, but they always got through.

Have you checked that you're below your limit?

Yes I am - the message goes to the other person, I just don't think an email is being sent out to let them know. I know I'm not getting emails either, depsite getting new messages.

... just had a look. I don't think email notifications of followed threads are being sent either.

Please can someone confirm.

There are currently some issues with the websitehelp email address so notifications are not being sent from the website. We are addressing the problem.

I think you're right, JK.  Also, when I checked my profile (advanced settings) just now, the Receive content follow-up notification e-mails checkbox was unticked.  I don't recall ever having done that.  Could it have been done by the system in some way?

I have the same in Advanced settings but don't remember what it used to be. I also don't understand the relation between what is set there and the actions I select for notifying email in a particular thread.

I've just received the same confusing system acknowledgement when sending a message:

The PM is sent and viewable but the email to the recipient telling them have a PM is not working at the moment.
