Peter Carmichael
Verniers and an Emerald are a good start. The cam timing can be very approximate on the standard SLR setup. The Emerald will eliminate all the drivability and idle issues you may have experienced with the SLR - don't bother with any Idle Air Control Valve installation as it is unnecessary complication. The throttle bodies you already have, while not ideal, still work reasonably well. If you wanted to stage the upgrade, this would be the item to delay. For an idea of staging and prices, follow the well trodden path to Dave Andrews website: info: click here prices: click here
