Moggie
Hi all, I'm replacing my indicator mounts following a collision with Bambi. In order to pull the wires through the metal arm I need to detach the wire pins from the plastic connectors. Can these just be pulled out or is there a proper technique? Thanks
ScottR400D
If they're the same as mine, separate the plug and release each wire by using a small screwdriver to release the plastic tag that holds the wire in place. Quite easy to see if you look closely at the plug from the connecting side, if you see what I mean.
JNC
Take some photos before you part the wires to aid reassembly
Area Representative Paul Richards Posted August 6, 2016 Area Representative Share Posted August 6, 2016 You'll need to remove the yellow plastic bit to access the pins. Small screwdriver releases a barb on the pinand allows pin to be removed. Easy once you get the hang of it.
