I have now a new question: Why the neew VVC is puping out more power than the first version? Do somebody knows what are the main mods? Bob Corb Posted February 12, 2003 Share Posted February 12, 2003 Raised compression ratio (10.8:1) from new stronger/taller pistons. Slightly reworked cylinder head (some "tidying up") Larger throttle body (52mm up from 48mm) Lower exhaust back pressure (in the MG that is) due to switchable tailbox. Better airbox (although the EU3 std VVC has that too) Slightly more agressive calibration in ECU. BC Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
