david nelson
just to say thank you of coming down to this fantastic little hill climb. It is so difficult and challenging. I love it.also it's really appreciated that so many come so far, Thank you
Geoff Corker
I second that. Great weekend, especially Llys y Fran, which is a hoot and the pubs that were very welcoming. Thanks to all involved in the organisation of the events and for a very healthy level of abuse from fellow competitors, in particular "white line" Tony! OliW
I just love Llys-y-Fran. It's such an intense hill and in lovely scenery (when you can actually see it). It's always a great weekend full of banter too, so thanks all.Has anyone seen my cat/wig/lucky charm/new jumper in waiting?
Sandboy
Well worth the 808 mile round trip, beat satnav by an hour thanks to lack of Heddu interruptions this year, trailer stayed attached whole way too*redface*Thanks to those who provided advice and help with fuel leak, replacement o-rings ordered and greater finesse will be used on their installation. Simon.Rogers
Isn't it a brilliant hill. Love it.Sorry I abandoned ship from the ZZR - Kumho war but when the gauntlet is laid down by a Westfield owner for FTD - all be it a very nice chap and quick driver - you just can not sit there and allow it to happen.Anyone know my time on T2? 42.6 ?I would like to upload the very boring slow looking video. CheshireCat
Good close competition and plenty of banter in Class 1 at both Llandow and Llys y fran over the weekend with Rich smashing the Class 1 record at Llys y Fran yesterday

Leadership Team Mcalvert Posted July 18, 2016 Leadership Team Share Posted July 18, 2016 Oli - Tam could really use a cat to kick today, so when you do find your ill-gotten "jumper in waiting" could you send it our way please...

Tony Smith
Ok Geoff, I get it now!!!I have loved Llandow from my first lap but Llys y Fran was just intimidating last year and first run yesterday as well.Penny dropped on second run, its for hooligans, an asbo would help!!!I had so much fun once I was attacking, all be it still not fast enough but great fun Thanks Chris and everyone, another great weekend As for you Geoff, I may have got a bit lost at Llandow but at least i didn't stop for a cake brake half way up the dam!! Simon.Rogers
Only just ! Pause my video 10m before the Boathouse and observe the 2 black lines heading toward the grass bank Oh and that they do not stop before hitting it !
Comp Sec
Um, I thought David was T3 when he went Rally Cross, I suspect those might be a certain Mr Bramall... Jnr who also decided to go hummock climbing............
CATERBram Jnr
I admit the black lines going into boathouse are mine and the wheel marks at the bottom of the banking are mine but the wheel lines going up the banking are not mine
Support Team Shaun_E Posted July 20, 2016 Support Team Share Posted July 20, 2016 I could do with another 500rpm or so as I'm on the limiter quite a lot - changing to 3rd just slows me down though as it more than doubles the number of gear changes required
Mark Durrant
A new PB and only good enough for second having matched Shaun on T2. However, I should have used 1st at the first corner so more time to come. Oh and my left front damper was not working correctly (drivers excuse no.9) so even more time to be had
Dannyboy
the throttle also appeared to be a problem mark, it appears to only operate using binary input.

Simon.Rogers
Mr Comp Sec I think you will find that TM only completed one run on Saturday and Sunday without incident. If he keeps this up he will be asking for half his entry fees back at the end of each event. Mark Durrant
I still have my morals intact and as I am known for my mechanical sympathy I used the clutch on the downshift
Simon.Rogers
It was the way that blip worked so sweetly. Very similar each time. Almost as if some sort of mechanical automatic device was doing it
