C7GCS
I'm fitting some new /original wings (which came with side repeaters),I was using a multimeter to try to find the the indicator feed to wire up the repeaters - does anyone know the colour-coding of looms for 7s form the early '90s - so I can tap into the correct one. thanks
Member Jonathan Kay Posted June 8, 2016 Member Share Posted June 8, 2016 I have a couple of diagrams from that era: which engine and dash? If you'd like those please send me a Private Mail with your email address.Do you already have the "standard" wire colours? That might be all you need. C7GCS
Marvelous Jonathan - thank you so much this was really handy last night and my repeaters now work! (I was tearing my hair out for the sake of the repeater bulbs not quite making contact with the contacts - back to basics check end to end with a spare 12v battery and your industry standard colour guide and it was absolutely fine. Job done - thanks for saving my sanity..... and what a useful link ;) Nice Windcheetah by the way - a cycle that is still on my to do list personally. Member Jonathan Kay Posted June 10, 2016 Member Share Posted June 10, 2016 :-)... and mine... that photo's from the company! Mine needs a few more hours work to get it back on the road but other things keep getting in the way. It's number 100 and was built by Burrows. Have you ridden any recumbents yet?Jonathan
