Johnh
Not sure about that apart from a black unmarked box on the interior NS bulkhead that looks as though it's an ecu? .. It's a vx Carlton engine car was built 2001.. But the Carlton control unit looks different.. I guess it must be specific to Caterhamits single coil no points if that helps? Miltec
If it's the 1.6 bored out that as far as I recall the 1.8 was then it's a C16nz2 engine, I'm fairly sure there is a rev limiter but it's not adjustable.
Johnh
In the build manual I have inherited with the car there were two vx standard 8valve engines for the classic a 1600(1598) and the super sprint 1800(1784) and I'm pretty sure it's all bog standard apart from a caterham tuned top end (ported etc) or I may be wrong.but I have no info on the engine control unit .. I think an adjustable Rev limiter kit just connects through the HT circuit? if anybody has done this on the 8 valve engine I'd welcome some info.
