JNC
I did last year ! And found a rise in temperature on tic over in traffic . That was in a Duratec I then changed to a lower thermostat and went back to water / antifreeze mix , only used the non water for a short time and I'm convinced the hoses have gone soft . So I'm keeping an eye on them.

Miltec
I take it you were watching Edd China putting it in the TR6 Dave?John, if your hoses are silicone then are they not supposed to be softer than the old rubber ones?
anthonym
I have just installed Evans Waterless coolant in my year 2000 Mk2 Mondeo (a V6 Duratec), running a tiny bit hotter according to the temp guage, but otherwise ok so far, a few days in."fitting" it was a different story. I have ordered a test device to check the percentage "water" that remains in the system.Plan is this is a test before fitting to my year 2000 K series Seven, number one attraction being to avoid risk of hot spots in the engine. Now going to read this thread.
