Upgrade Retaining the Standard Plenum

The VVC plenum has been proved to support up to 185BHP, the plastic plenum isnt that restrictive, the main difference is in the *volume* of the plenum rather than its thruput.

I'd say with a larger TB (The trophy 160) it would be capable of supporting 170BHP, the most I have seen is 165BHP, but I wouldnt recommend extreme cams with a plenum, the pressure waves in the plenum will make idle fairly rough and progression quite jumpy.

when you say "matched plenum"

what do you mean, I ma guessing that it is measured to the inlet holes so as to have no step and or as smooth as possible finish?

big inlets I am asusming you mean inlet valves

as for internals I am gussing that you will never get enough air to to get loads of revs so the engine will not require uprated internals?
