philwaters Posted February 7, 2003 Share Posted February 7, 2003 There is always one awkward **gg** isn't there 😬 Really struggling here, but the ITal diff housing is about 6" long and the Ford casing is about 8" I think... the Ford diff flange is almost level with the seat bulkhead. Chris K Posted February 7, 2003 Share Posted February 7, 2003 I asked the same question about 6 months ago and the answer i got was... take off one of the rear wheels... on the drum between the studs if there is a stamp or or something like that it is a Ital.. Bob_r Posted February 7, 2003 Share Posted February 7, 2003 I think I am right in saying that if you look on either of the brake back plates, if you have a brake adjuster, then its an ital axle.
