sean b
Can anybody help please.after unwrapping the car from its winter hibernation I was gutted to find that on doing a preflight check that my toy had decided to dispense some of its antifreeze onto the garage floor. On closer inspection I have traced the leak to the water pump,so decided that better safe than sorry I now intend to replace the offending part .the question is can any one please supply me with a part number and supplier of a water pump ,as there is so many choices on eBay etc and I am dubious about the quality of some itemsForgot to mention car is 2002 1.6 k seriesthanks Sean
stuart147
Hi Sean. Could you not go to a local friendly motor factors? Water pumps are generally not expensive and you could be up and running again today. Waiting for eBay and getting the wrong one could get frustrating.Stuart

revilla
Rover 216/416 will be right for pretty much all the core engine parts that aren't Caterham specials i.e. sump, oil pickup and baffle, spigot bearing (Ford), water rail.
John Vine
Part no. is GWP333. At least, that's what my old 1999 1.8K had, and I'm pretty sure that'll be the same for your engine.JV
Wrightpayne
Ensure it has metal impellor. Cam belt, tensioner (if manual) and alternator belt at the same time plus new antifreeze.Ticks a lot of 'Service' boxes!! Ian
