Marc Newson
Hi Wondering if anyone has experienced an entire lack of rear braking pressure after fitting the AP upgraded master cylinder? Brake spec is: AP 4 pot front, AP 2 pot rear, upgraded master cylinder, original mintex pads supplied by caterham. Any clues would be greatly appreciated. F355GTS
Marc Do you have a brake balance valve? if so is set to fully open when bleeding? Can't think of anything else unless there's maybe a fault in the new MC Mark
Sheds Moderator
Sounds like a bleeding issue to me, unless the new MC is faulty, which seems unlikely. They are simple enough, after all. Incidentally I have a brake balance lever, set to halfway between neutral and "all front". (a) is this setting best for general road use and (b) for future reference how does the bleed procedure differ from a normal setup?
