Julian H
After cleaning my Seven yesterday I wanted to touch up some stone chips but the paint [Caterham Blue] was all thick and gloopy. Plenty of paint in the bottle so it seems a shame to waste it. I tried to warm it up in a pan of hot water which made little difference. Is there anything I can do to revitalize it or do I need to buy some more? Thanks

pmobbs
Julian, Watch out, that gloopy paint may be two part requiring K2000 hardener. I couldn't work out why my Caterham bought BRG paint would not set - turned out I needed the hardener. I have some here in Lewes somewhere if you want a few mls. It thins the gloop as well as makes it set. All the best, P.
Julian H
Hi P.Thanks very much for the offer but my touch-up is definitely paint. I have used it before and it dried fine. I am going to get a little thinners.Cheers
Bob Shelley
Won't that add weight?! Perhaps we can discuss on Saturday!
Julian H
I suspected some bright spark would come up with that one, but it did take longer than I thought.
