Member Jonathan Kay Posted December 23, 2015 Member Share Posted December 23, 2015 You can find some codes here. But I'd get several samples of each made and choose what looks right to you.(Lots of different colours have been called British Racing Green over the years.)Jonathan
Area Representative Golf Juliet Tango Posted December 24, 2015 Area Representative Share Posted December 24, 2015 Lotus originally used a green which was noticeably paler (more yellow) than the Caterham BRG.On the other hand, "Lotus Safety Yellow" is terminology that Tony at TSK recognises. CanAm
I remember reading back in the day that the Team Lotus green was a Daimler colour.
Member Jonathan Kay Posted January 11, 2016 Member Share Posted January 11, 2016 We had a Daimler Conquest (MFW 707) that was a similar colour. Like this, which isn't ours:JonathanPS: I've never heard about the paint but there once was a possible connection between Lotus and Daimler. But I've only found one source.PPS: My father had seat belts fitted to the Conquest. About 1961. Most people had never seen them except in aircraft. That led to repeated but not very funny jokes based on the registration.
