Cornelius Posted February 3, 2003 Share Posted February 3, 2003 I have decided to change the location of the battery from under the steering column. Does anybody have any suggestions on the best place. I will also be fitting a drysump system sortly with the tank going to the front passenger bulkhead. It is a live-axle x-flow car. Opinions please. Anthony Posted February 3, 2003 Share Posted February 3, 2003 Hi Cornelius, Many options - I have used a James Whitting cradle in the past to put the battery over the bellhousing. Makes for great access. With engine swap I am looking to see if I can get it to go down by the footwell, but allow the dry sump tank to go in as well Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
blighty Posted February 3, 2003 Share Posted February 3, 2003 Cornelius, I had the same idea , under the column is a terrible place , so, as I was removing the heater this left a nice big clear space to locate a small battery !
