Do I need new pads?

you need to look at the depth of the pad material, if you're planning tracks and sprints you don't really want to be below 3mm to 4mm left ans the thicker the pad the betterthe heat dissipation.

As far as recommendations I only use my 7 for trackdays and currently running Pagid (RS14's I think) which are very good although previously I had Ferodo DS3000's which had a sharper feel, some info here http://www.ferodo.co.uk/ferodo_home/motorsports.html#DS3000

I've also used Mintex 1155's which were OK but lacked the feel of either of the above

Note neither the Pagid's or DS3000's are legal for road use presumably because they need some heat in them before they work

I've got RS-15's (road legal too!)on the front of mine and reckon they are the mutt's nuts, really good bite from cold and even better when they warm up, loads of feel too even with standard discs - quite costly though at £120 odd for an axle set - don't know how this compares to RS-14?!

PS You're quite local to me I believe - Shefford?! Is on my way home from work, when the roads have dried out you could always have a go and see for yourself?!

Yep, that'll be me, the same Spinner who's changed her mind on sprinting this year 🙆🏻 Will sort something out for a weekend this month or we will be at the Silverstone virgins thing for a nose on the 1st March. We'll be at Llandow at the end of March too *thumbup*

I reckon you need to give her a nudge from Sal and I as we were looking forward to some competition at Curborough in May!

I'm booking an afternoon at Curborough for late April for some sneaky practice before May 17th, you two are more than welcome to join us if you can make it. Should have the date my Thursday, cost will be peanuts!
