Paul Deslandes Posted October 5, 2015 Share Posted October 5, 2015 The splines for the propshaft are lubricated by the gearbox oil so you don't want to add anything different to the mix. The rear gearbox extension seal stops oil leaking out. Should you ever have to remove the gearbox when it's filled with oil, as soon as the propshaft drops out, use the transport sealing cap to replace the proshaft to stop making a mess on the garage floor, always assuming CC still supply the gearbox with the cap.
