Mankee
Me again, shifting some bits that I don't need from the new engine or things that I've got doubles of. All the parts came from a K-series, although I guess you could fit the Laminova on anything with the right plumbing.First up is a small Laminova C43-92 to help your oil get up to temperature quickly over winter.. This one has 32mm push-on fittings for the coolant hose, the same size as the Caterham top hose, and -10 JIC fittings for the oil lines. The oil fittings are easily changed if they don't suit your setup. They retail at Speedflow and Think Auto for £220.13 + VAT = £264.16. I'm after £130 (sold)Pic here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/s1f5anvuma4hu6a/DSCF3122.JPG?dl=0Next, I have a Brise starter motor. It doesn't have a Brise sticker on it, as the previous owner bought a Powerlite and this one arrived! It looks identical to some Brise starters I've seen before and has the spacer built in, so you just need to whack it on. The lowest fixing will ideally need a stud in the bellhousing and nut though, as access is tricky. It's this chap here: http://www.brise.co.uk/Caterham-C890510PGR.html They are £215 + VAT = £258 new. I'm also after £130 (deposit received)Pics here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/5cl6nwucu5m6olr/DSCF3120.JPG?dl=0, https://www.dropbox.com/s/6dscgoblfe975px/DSCF3121.JPG?dl=0 (sorry for the blur)Sytec/FSE fuel rail adapter which replaces the standard FPR in the standard fuel rail so that you can run an external FPR. £20-odd new. I'm after £10Pic here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/9mf8l3pb13ffpzg/DSCF3131.JPG?dl=0Lastly, I bought a new Powerlite RAC068 lightweight alternator last year to replace my heavy old Lucas A127. It's a Denso-based 3-kg unit and does what it is supposed to do. Will fit other engines apart from K-series, as I've seen some Crossflows and Zetecs using the same Lucas A127/ACR alternators. More info here: http://www.powerlite-units.com/news/rac068-show-stopper/ and http://www.powerlite-units.com/products/rac068/. About £220-odd new. Also comes with an extremely light pulley that was £20-odd. You can have whatever bracketry and fixing hardware that I can find to go with it and even the Metro crank pulley (with only one set of ribs, so lighter and less rotational mass) as well as a couple of belts (one new) that I used with it. I'm after £130 (sold pending inspection of the goods)I've not got a recent photo but here is an old one when I was fitting it over the winter: https://www.dropbox.com/s/yd0bsgxobxmvfpj/AlternatorBits.jpg?dl=
