Road tax display with aero screen

Ok chaps a tricky one.

Having done the super aero screen (interchangable option) I now have the downside of where to put my road tax.

I have purchased a lovely (carbon fibre naturally 😬) tax disc holder which I have attached inside the cock pit to the side panel by the passengers knee.

How does this stand up legally ? Does it have to be visible externally ?

Vehicle Excise and Registration Act 1994.

Road Vehicles( Registration and Licensing) Regulations, 1971.Reg 16.

A licence should be displayed-

(a) On the case of a vehicle fitted with a windscreen on or adjacent to the nearside .

In all cases the vehicle licence should be displayed so that it can be clearly read in daylight from the nearside.

Problem occurs when you park and a TW or parking attendant attempts to find it

James,

Quite a few of us mount the disc holder on the nearside front bonnet spring. Never had any problems with the PC Plod (touch wood) and it has the advantage of not getting hit by all the crap thrown up by the front wheel.
