Miraz Posted January 30, 2003 Share Posted January 30, 2003 My car is in bits at the moment, and I've discovered that the SV chassis is missing several of the diagonal cross braces that are designed to protect the driver's feet in the event of a side impact, also that upper chassis rail with the bushes to support a full cage does not appear to have any useful vertical support, cos the diagonal brace on the side of the chassis has been moved somewhere else... Miraz Posted January 30, 2003 Author Share Posted January 30, 2003 There don't appear to be any other substantially stronger bits elsewhere in the design, there is a possibility that they may change the chassis design to include the missing links sometime soon. Mr Chapman where it is stated that he had a big arguement with an official about a bulkhead sprayed in silver coloured paint being fireproof!!!!! What are the sensor pick-ups for on front hubs ? Could understand one for digital speedo, but not sure on second. Looks like we got out of Huntingdon just in time given the weather.... What you doing with your car main loom then? I need one for my SLR which is naked at Arch at the moment and would be happy to make you an offer if you are going to buy a stack loom from Caterham.
